Are Sky now forcing adverts when you start watching a program?

Noticed this a few times now viewing Sky Sports! I'll open Sky Go, open the TV Guide, select Sports and select the program I want to watch and before the program appears i'm spammed with an Advert!! I could also get this if I leave the TV Guide open for a while and then select a program.

 

Even if select and watch something live mid-program this has happened a few times now, so is this a new unwanted forced feature?

This has been the case on channels showing live football for a quite while now so perhaps it has been extended to other channels.
