Any reason some on demand content isnt watchable?

So a new series of alone starts this week on history channel and i wanted to watch previous series before it starts as i dint see them all

I see series 6 and 7 (ive seen 7 already) so i am trying to watch series 6  but when i try to download i get  the message telling me i need to upgrade my subscription.

Ive tried other programd from the history channel and i am able to download those so any reason why this one wont work? I have boxset subscription which would include on demand??or not?

If not then how can i watch some shows but not this one? Thanks

A boxset or Sky Signature subscription would let you access all on demand content so have you tried the SD version to see if it will let you access this ?

Hi,yes i have that subscription and that is the first thing i tried.

It wont let me download in sd which is what is puzzling me as i am able to with other shows both from history and other channels but not his one for some reason,thanks

It appears i have inadvertantly fixed it by accident

I went on the app on my phone and looked for the show on there and found that it played fine on the app,so i thought i would click download to box and the downloaded then started on the box

Now when i search the show on the box i am able to play it

No idea what caused it to not work in the first place but.....seems to work now
