Add a new user on communal system
We have a 9 flat block with dual feeds to the flats. One resident already has Sky Q. Does this mean that other flats can be easly connected now?

Re: Add a new user on communal system
Should not be a problem if 1 flat is already running sky q.
I had hell for 4 months with sky q on a communal dish though, problem after problem, eventually I got my own dish installed and everything was ok.
Good luck

@itsfineProbably. The communal dish only needs a single feed, you still need permission from the "management agent" to access the distribution equipment cupboard as the installer may have to work on the equipment.

Re: Add a new user on communal system
The fact that one resident already has Sky Q connected confirms that the quality of the communal Integrated Reception System (IRS) was measured and found to be good enough to support the slightly increased Modulation Error Ratio (MER) quality required to provide long term error free reception on a Sky Q receiver.
If a Unitron dCSS-422 Sky Q Plug-In Adaptor was installed to support the first Sky Q customer this device can support two Sky Q receivers, so it should be a simple job to connect your flat to the second Sky Q compatible output port of this device.
