the account is in my ex partners name.she no longer lives and this address

the sky account is in my ex partners name,she no longer lives at this address and she hasn't payed the bill in 3 months.its almost £180 and that is set to come out of my bank account on the 28th March.what should i do please?

@llewelyn77 If the account isn't in your name then you have no obligation to pay it, however if its due tomorrow and its paid by direct debit it might be to late to stop it going through.

You should ask your Ex to cancel the subscription if they aren't in a minimum term deal (you can't do it). Sky will send returns packaging to your address for the loaned equipment to be returned. Technically it's your ex's responsibility but whoever returns it should obtain proof of posting and keep it indefinitely.

@llewelyn77 if it's paid by direct debit, you can cancel it now via your bank to avoid payment tomorrow.

the account is in my ex partners name.she has left and we are not on speaking terms.she has an eighteen month contract with around 6 months left to go before its end.she has not payed for 3 months and now the bill is almost £180 and sky take the money out of my bank account for it usually but she has given me no money for it in 3 months.now sky are going to take it out of my bank account.she will not refuses to contact sky about it and she will not end the contract.i can not take my debit card details out of SKY because all services have been cut.what can i do about this please?
