keep getting an email asking for an overdue payment of £81 but not telling me what its for
Ive been ignoring it thinking its a scam as it also states that they have cancelled my sky services (which are still running ok) but looking into it now after receiving the last email upping it to £91 and threatening to call in the dept collectors it seems legit . tried to go into my account thats now blocked reading various posts it seems that you cant get to talk to anybody until you settle this account which seems blackmail to me
i cant see what i owe due to me paying it by direct debit & non have been missed according to my bank account how do i resolve this if i cant speak or email them without paying money i dont owe ??if i do pay it how will i get it back?? ive never encountered BULLYING tactics like this before
any help would me much appreciated
regards
paul

Right clicked on the link & it came back unable to identify account with the details provided
I used my postcode & the account number they are quoting in the email they keep sending me.
I haven't got my account number written down anywhere to compare with this thats why I was trying to access my account to confirm this but as I say I'm locked out of it
I suspect they are using the wrong account number against my name but can't get to find out

Why do you say that, have you been a customer of Sky in the past and left for over 12 months ?

No been with sky for 30+ years nothing has changed thats why I assumed it was a scam ill try and ring them when I get home but reading someone elses post they wanted the debt settling first before they would give him access to his account which I feel this is a little harsh & uncalled for

I've started getting the same, I have forwarded the emails to the CEO now. Haven't had Sky TV for over 4 years and only have a mobile account now which is paid and up to date. The emails are so threatening but when I speak to customer services they have no idea why as my account was in credit.

Yes and yes; it goes to sky.com but when I put in my username and password there is a deactivated TV account and a fully paid mobile account. The TV account has been inactive for around 4 years

Further update, they tried to phone me even though I have told them multiple times I am disabled and cannot hold the phone to my ear then closed my complaint. Didn't acknowledge it and didn't look into it. Emailed them again they asked for info whilst continuing to fob me off and low and behold I've heard nothing else. It's honestly a joke, they are quick enough to send aggressive emails but taking their time actually fixing anything

Does your phone not have hands-free capability? I would have thought that would be invaluable to you.

It does which is why I've let them know if they want to contact me to arrange it so I can have my phone out and I'm somewhere where I can put it on loud speaker. They called when I was on my way to a hospital appointment so my phone was in my pocket and I can't get it out quick enough to answer it when people phone because I've got very little movement in my arms anymore. They called once, left a voicemail then emailed me to say they had closed my complaint
