ive searched google, gone to youtube etc. why is it so hard (at least for me) to sign up for a subscription? if possible i would like to subscribe/purchase a sky sports "F1 only" package. during all the F1 races i always hear mentioned "if you are a sky q customer". i have no idea how sky sport pkgs work. do you get a separate tv box or is it just shown on your tv? im not sure why its so hard to find an easy answer to "how do i purchase a sky F1 only package. i get all the F1 practices, qualy`s and races on my cable tv but would like to watch the coming up practice days and see everything F1 that isnt on my cable channel. now that ive asked these questions i have no idea where to look to see if anyone answers them. this is my last shot at trying to get help and then i will just give up. the virtual chat robot is absolutely no help at all.

Find out moreIf you are not a Sky subscriber then give them a call to see what price they can offer you for the package, you will need the Sky Signature package which gives access to the entertainment channels and then the either the sports package or the F1 channel. This will also come with a contract length of 12 or 18 months.

i appreciate your (and one other reply) but im still lost. it may be that im 69 yrs old and not good with computers etc. i just cant figure anything out from the home page. ive just never ran into something that is so hard (on me) to figure out and join without screwing up and spending more money than meant. i "googled" how to get an "F1 only" subscription and saw something for $18 a month. i could never find it or anything else to tell me what to do so ive just given up on doing this. since i pay for cable already and get all the practices, qually and races i dont want to pay more than $18 for just a little bit more F1 stuff. the other person who replied said i have to have some other Sky subscription and then purchase the F1 pkg. so even if i could figure out how to subscribe and get what i want it sounds like it would cost me more than $18 per month. thanks again for your time/reply

i received 2 replies counting yours. you mention calling them but i dont find any U.S. phone number. i had googled my question and it looked like i could get F1 only pkg for $18 month but not only could i not find that anywhere, and you mention i have to have another subscription first. so even if i could "navigate" Sky`s website it sounds like it would all cost more than i want to spend. as i said, i have cable and get all the practice, qually`s and races so i dont want to spend lots more just to get a little bit more F1 stuff. ive decided after reading both replies to my question to just forget about this venture.
thanks for your time and reply

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@racefan the fundamental problem is that Sky UK provides tv services only to the UK and Ireland. It's not possible to subscribe and receive services from beyond the UK and Ireland.
I don't know if there's a US cable tv provider that carries some of Sky's tv services, but that might be something to investigate.
