my bb is cut off and its time to renew my contract. I dont get my pip until the 13th May. I am Autistic. Please help I CANNOT GET THROUGH TO A HUMAN BEING ON THE PHONE

Restrictions are applied automatically and Sky agents can’t override this process. Sky won’t reinstate services until you’ve paid what they believe is owed and set up a new continuous payment method.

If your payment is two or more weeks overdue you will have to pay the next bill as well. If you’re in arrears for 56 days or more Sky can fully terminate your subscription. Any calls to Sky will only prompt you to make a payment.

Sky don't allow payment plans on overdue live accounts, nor will they consider promises to pay on or by a certain date.

Once your full payment has cleared and is in Sky’s account your services should be reinstated, but this may not be instant. (Any payment you make over a weekend or on a Bank Holiday won’t be processed until the following week).

You should be able to pay the bill and set up your direct debit via the MySky app or online using this link

You are going to have to pay what you owe and setup your payment method again before being able to talk to someone about a possible new contract.

I dont want a new contract. 

 

What I am saying is I've been cut off because I didnt pay my bill 14 dayd ago, and that has aligned with my contract ending.

 

So I might as well go with someone else.

 

To add the cherry on top, a lady rang me from sky sales yesterday to renew thje contract, but cut me off because I wouldnt take a televiosion.

 

She couldnt understand why and how I managed my life, without a television.

 

Anyway, thanks for nuttin sky. What a way to treat disabled customers. Disgraceful "customer service".

Being disabled doesn't come into it. If a bill isn't paid then services are restricted, that applies to me, you and everyone else that is a Sky customer.

 

If you are out of contract then while you are free to go to another supplier you will still have to pay what you owe to Sky.

Hi @pnholt   Your contract only ends after you gave Sky the required notice. Sky will confirm this by sending you a cancellation confirmation email. Did you receive this email as proof? Some people get confused with contracts and minimum term. Their contract only ends if they follow the correct procedure, they do not stop at the end of a minimum term. Another method is to use the broadband switching scheme, in which case you will get a sorry you are leaving email from Sky.

@pnholt do be aware that although your discounted minimum term has ended, your contract with Sky hasn't,  so once you've paid the amount outstanding, you'll need to give the notice required to cancel - that's 14 days for broadband and 31 days for everything else. You'll be charged as normal throughout your notice period. You can't give notice to cancel while you have an overdue payment.
