monthly bills

hello i took out 2 yrs broadband deal for 25 a month i changed my payment date and my bill was higher that was expected but now my monthly bills are saying it will be 29 a month thats 4 pounds more a month for nearly the next 2 years anyone no why

Itwont be for two years. It could potentially rise April 2024 too. There is an annual price increase as of April 1st, the same as previous years. It’s allowed through your terms and conditions which you’ve agreed to and all customers will be affected. Sky can increase prices once in any 12 month period. Your contract is not a fixed price but your discounts are. If you haven’t received it yet you’ll get an email or letter by the 23 March outlining the increases.

I just started with sky 2 months ago surly my bill hasn't gone up £4 a month already

You're still subject to the increase, I'm afraid, though Sky offer price,protection protection the first 60 days, as explained here: https://www.sky.com/help/articles/changes-to-your-sky-subscription-uk?DCMP=dmc-skycom:ec_changes
