increased cost of Sky Sports

Does anyone know why Sky have increased he cost of the Sky Sports package when they have lost Eurosport? Their package has shrunk, not expanded. As someone who mainly watched the Europort channels, I an wondering what I am paying for. Is there any way to get a discount?

Eurosport despite the name was never part of the Sky sports package as you could access the channels via the basic Sky Signature package. Sky has an annual

price as do the likes of Bt and Virgin each April.

Eurosport is not part of Sky Sports.  (It was a 'free' channel not requiring a sports sub)

Discounts require a minimum term contract (Currently 2 years)

As others have pointed out Eurosport wasn't part of the Sky Sports pack, and wasn't a channel owned or operated by Sky.

I would think one of the reasons the Sky Sports pack price has increased would be due to covering the cost of new sporting deals, including the new Premier League TV deal which kicks off in August where Sky are increasing the number of games being shown.
