Not necessarily.
Numbers are easily spoofed.
Your account may be compromised - I would change the account password (especially if it's the same as others used elsewhere) and enable two factor security.

With any calls from 'Sky' (especially unexpected calls) if the caller asks for your telephone password to confirm you're the account holder (which I would expect a genuine Sky agent to do) initially give an INCORRECT one on purpose. If the caller doesn't challenge it then you know it'll likely be a scam call.

I never handed over my details, they only had my name, I've also since spoken to sky and they have informed me it was Infact one of there team and gave me the correct steps to file a complaint.
