i am no longer a sky customer but have a credit on my account i would like back but no sky no longer

I have cancelled my account and my bill for this last month is in credit , so i am due a refund . I have cancelled my DD . i understand that a cheque will be issued in these circumstances , but i really cannot wait the standard 6 weeks for the money . i read that someone on this forum got contacted by sky and was able to process a refund within a few days via a refund link , would i be able to have this option ?

That would be for a customer with their payment method still in place. A cheque refund will take considerably longer.

We have to allow at least 10 minutes before we can escalate your post to Sky so I’ll escalate it at that point and their Messaging Team should contact you later.

Look out for a post on this thread from one of the team inviting you to a private chat and then you should see a blue/red speech bubble at the bottom of your forum page. You’ll have 48 hours to click on it and start the private chat or it will close automatically. If you fail to respond to a chat reply within 48 hours the chat will again close down automatically even if your issue hasn’t been resolved. Replies from Sky aren’t instant so you’ll need to check the chat thread periodically.

Now escalated. I've told them your payment method has been cancelled so it may have to go to a back office team to be resolved.
