That's all speculation and no substance. Tell us what it's about.

Presumably they've now explained what the charge was for and why it has been added to your account?

@Andrew7719

Unfortunately if that's the amount Sky believe you owe and you haven't paid it this will result in your services being restricted until you do. If it's reached that stage I doubt Sky will answer your calls (as is normal policy) and any calls you make will only prompt you to pay.

Your health status hasn't influenced this action in any way. It applies to all customers who miss a scheduled payment.

edit: Sky don't collect equipment themselves. It's down to the customer to return loaned equipment (Sky Q boxes and most routers) once they've successfully cancelled a subscription (which I'm afraid you can't do whilst in arrears).

We haven't heard the full story here so please enlighten us.

Sounds like your minimum term has ended and discounts have expired?

In terms of cancelling your contract you will find that difficult if you owe Sky money.

As we're other customers here we can only advise on ways to deal with this - ideally you should pay what you owe and then give notice to cancel.

In terms of returning the boxes collection can be arranged.  Are you registered with accessibility?  https://skyaccessibility.sky/

But without more detail we're guessing...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

@Andrew7719

There are no 'hidden' charges. You haven't paid your bill as per the T's and C's you agreed to so Sky are quite within their rights to restrict your services and charge late payment fees. Sorry to hear about your health issues but as stated already they are irrelevant in respect of this.

You still haven't told us what this charge is for.... I assume you've raised it with Sky.

@Andrew7719 The charges are not hidden or secret, they are clearly explained in the contract terms and conditions, what has happened has nothing to do with any disablility or vulnerability the same action is taken with all customers.

Personally i don't agree with Sky's policy of not talking to people who have unpaid bills but its not going to change, you could try and see if the accessabilites team can help(if you are already registered with them) however im not sure if they will be able to assist.
