cost of leaving sky

What costs do I owe by leaving sky+ after 9 years. I am not currently under contract so would they just pick up there old equipment?

If you're out of contract there is nothing to pay and with Sky+ the equiptment is yours to keep, you can still use the box to watch free channels (but not record/rewind etc).

I did wonder a friend said he could remove it all and hook my freesat unit from my touring van in for me. So sounds like the way to go and just get a new broadband and phone package.

To cancel all your TV subscription, if you’re out of contract you’ll still need to give Sky the required 31 days notice. If you successfully cancel you should receive an acknowledgment email from Sky.
