i had a sky chap on the phone trying to sell me an upgraded service, he was rude when i would not say yes, he kept trying to pressure me so i hung up, he renewed my contract and booked me in for an engineer to upgrade my sky package, i called Sky and spoke to someone who apologised on behalf of Sky and as a way of an apology was offering me reduced rates but he was missing the point i did not agree to anything that was originally offered, surely this is against the law, all calls are supposedly recorded so i asked for a transcript of the conversation, ive heard nothing in 6 months, i have not received the illegally set up upgrade but i am still tied into 18 months so i cant cancel because i cant afford to pay the in contract settlement Can anyone advise please ?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI would suggest a formal complaint to Sky. Ask them to listen to the call recording when the contract was discussed. It will help if you can specify a date and approximate time.

If you want a transcript of the recording for yourself, you'll need to complete this forum: https://www.sky.com/help/forms/customer-information-request

I agree that the complaints process is the way to go but be aware we've been told on here (by the Messaging Team) that calls can only be listened back within 6 months of the call.
