cannot turn off tailored advertising

 For the last 6 months I have not been able to turn off tailored advertising, because 'unfortunately something went wrong with your request. Please try again'

That is actually deception, and I would like to turn off this option, for some reason I have put up with not having a choice for 6 months. Can someone help here?

Are you sure you don't work for them? I'm asking Sky now, on this forum. It's a bit of an unusual fault not to be able to turn off a field.

Turning off this setting prevents using profiling to send targeted adverts to me, on third party platforms, that I am totally unaware of on a conscious level.

Just want the choice to turn it off to be fair.

It's a customer Community. It's unlikely Sky will reply here. You could give,them a call.
