cancelled sky TV in APR 2025 and just been advised it is not cancelled
Hi All
i have cancelled my SKY TV last month[APR2025] received email confirming the cancellation after a few minutes, this month i have be sent a bill foir £280 spoke with SKY and they said im on a rolling contract? how is this possible when cancellation was confirmed last month and all services were going to be terminated on 17th MAY, cannot speak to anyone they keep disconnecting my calls and say they are calling me back but they do not, followed by an email saying thank you for contacting us we are pleased your issue has been resolved? can anyone please advise what to do as i cannot afford to pay them £280, many thanks

Bills are generated 14 days before your payment date.
These are generated completely as normal even during your notice period (including the month in advance even if this is past your cessation date).
I presume your services have ceased working now?

As bills are created 14 days in advance what shows on what will have been your next bill, so do you see a credit on it ?

its just frustrating i have made 3 complaints just submitted the 4th today still have not received the returns package i have disconnected all teh equipment as i do not want it, i have been with SKY now 21 years and promised myself i would not recontract but they lured me back unfortunately. will await the outcome of the latest complaint.

Hi all
definitely cancelled and rceived the email last month just do not understand what is hoing on, why would they of not posted the returns packing for SKY Q equipment but send packing for the Broadband and booster

Wnay date did you receive the email ?

Then what you need to do is to take the complaint further by asking for a deadlock letter as per this:
