Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAs we are customers here to see if they will offer you another discount you would need to call Sky. It will probably come with a 18 month contract though.

There's no option to pay Sky less based on only one channel being viewed: it will always be a rate for the 'Signature' channel pack. Check you aren't being charged for unwanted extras such as Netflix Basic (in the 'Ultimate TV' bundle) and if TCM isn't HD then you may be paying an HD add-on for no reason.

I knew that its just that,
I also know some customers were getting far more for less including movie and sports channel and unfair for us long term customers. i managed to get a few pounds off but wanted me to sign up to another 18 months . I will wait to the end of the month and cancel

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreThere's always a quid pro quo. In return for a discount Sky require an 18 months' commitment.
The other customers you mention would also have been required to commit for a future term. It's no different with any other provider.

No-one is likely to be getting Signature, Cinema and Sport for £25, or even £31 (aside from 'free' trial periods). The discounted new customer rate* for Sky Q on such a bundle over an 18 month initial term is more like twice that.
*currently Signature £26, Cinema £12 (discounted from £19), Sport £20 (discounted from £32) so £58 before any add-ons such as HD

@kaitlynn if your father is only watching the one (non sky) channel, it might be worth considering changing to the Sky Essentials package which will be cheaper than his current package. See details below..
