I fell behind with payments but set a plan up with an agency to pay what I owed but my account had been completely cancelled now and I'm at a loss as to what I can do and how to resolve it as I didn't want the full account to be closed and go to debt collection

If it is then as soon as the debt was passed to them your Sky account would be closed, you can't realistically expect Sky to keep a defaulted account open.
