Will I get a new hub if I “upgrade” once out of contract

My current Ultrafast 1 contract ran out. If I renew my contract and get the Gigafast package, will I be sent a new hub or can I continue using my current one?

It appears that Sky is only replacing Sky Broadband Hubs with Max Hubs where current users choose to add the WiFi Max subscription supplement.  However this could change, and it would probably make more sense for Sky to be making the swap (which was initially the case)

The good news about no news is that it helps me decide. Having been with Sky for 10+ years now I find this complete lack of customer service incredibly appalling and I really don't see why I should be paying a premium price for an inferior provider.

It would seem the previous view of customer retention is completely gone: you don't seem to care whether I renew my contract or not. Very sad.

Repeated posts in the Broadband forum suggest the 2019 Sky Broadband Hub is a better WiFi performer than the 2023 Max Hub in some properties.
