@Totalwar2 to explain further: you were let off the April 2025 increase because it was so close to ypu agreeing a new deal. Instead you pay the April increase from August. Next year you'll get the annual increase in April.

I was told they could not do anything about the price rises in April even though I just got a new glass tv.

That's correct: the price increase cannot be avoided, but it does get deferred.
