Who is Sky selling our personal info?

I am constantly getting scam calls from India claiming they are from sky.

Always tell them what I actually think of them then block the number.

But with the amount of these calls who has Sky sold or personal details to or has Sky been hacked and not told us

It's largely a waste of time blocking these numbers. Scammers just fabricate another one to evade the blocking. It could even be the. case that the calls you're receiving are from a single scammer or scammer organisation now that they know your number is active.

A better solution would be to use a call interception service, such as Sky Talk Shield or BT Trucall to force unknown callers to state who they are,  giving you the option of accepting or rejecting the call.

Sky's Privacy Notice explains exactly who they share data with and why.

If Sky had been 'hacked' then the ICO would require affected customers to be notified.

These calls are generally opportunistic and may have obtained personal information from elsewhere.

@Sparkyjcou it's highly your data has been sold

scammers are very resourceful in how they can spoof phone numbers and just dial as many random numbers as possible in the hope someone will inadvertently answer and make you think that it is sky calling

there is nothing you or sky can do about it I'm afraid
