Who do I contact to sort an ongoing problem?
On the 20th July I signed up to sky broadband and paid my £5 for the router to be sent.
My activation date was the 23rd July. This date came and went with nothing happening at all, the router was still showing on my order status as unsent.
I call CS and am assured it will all happen soon.
A week goes by and still nothing, activation still showing as the 23rd and the router still not dispatched.
I call again and told the same.
Another week goes by and still the same, another call and told they will get on it and push it through.
After a month of this I give up, I call to cancel my order. I'm told all is cancelled and my £5 refund will take 3 to 5 working days.
Another week still nothing, my account shows the same activation date and no refund.
So fed up with talking to liars that just read off a script and tell me the same [Removed] everytime I email sky through the complaints.
I get a reply asking to confirm some security details and they'll get back to me. I send the email, a week later no contact from them so I email back and they they've sent it to a higher team.
Another week or so later I get another email asking to confirm the same security questions, I answer and again still no reply for over a week only to be told it's going to some other dept.
Then finally upon checking my sky account the order has disappeared, but Im still owed £5.
I email again and I'm told it's now gone to some cancellation team and they need me to confirm the same security questions a 3rd time!.
I again answer them only to get a reply saying "I am sorry to inform you that I am unable to verify your Sky Account due to Data Protection Act or contact you at this point of time."
[Removed] is going on with this. Finally the order seems to have been closed but I want my measly £5 back just on principle now.
Its taken nearly 4 months to cancel an order and they still haven't refunded my £5.
They are seriously incompetent.
Who if anyone can I get in touch with to get this sorted out?
Thanks.

If you have put in a complaint then Sky has up to 8 weeks to either resolve it or to issue you with a deadlock letter that will allow you to take it further so you should be contacted sometime about it. If they have told you to post on here then there is nothing we can do for us as we are customers here who help ecah other.
