What is sky ultimate TV and sky signature

I think sky signature is basic package but what is ultimate?

Ultimate gives you access to Netflix via your Sky account.

I eventually got hold of sky to find out about this and the fact that when I changed to sky Q (which I was told I had to because my old box was broken and they told me they didn't replace those anymore) I was told Netflix was included for the length of my contract ... I assumed this meant it was free for the whole contract ... now told that wasn't the case so feel misled. Will be cancelling that for sure.

Certainly sounds like the person you spoke with misinformed you. For clarity Netflix is included in the base TV subscription of Sky Glass and Sky Stream but isn't included on the base TV subscription of Sky Q.

I'd observe that Signature hasn't been available as a user selectable option when ordering Q online for at least a year: while it still exists in theory (and for legacy subscription) Ultimate TV is effectively the default.
