We moved out , but did t move into our new house until 6 weeks later

We moved out of our house 28 th November. Not moved to new house until 4 th January. Wanted to cancel sky and renew when we moved. The person I spoke to said I couldn't do that. I wasn't using sky for 6 weeks, that's why the pay,ent stopped.   I've been with you for over 20 years. Surely I should be able to stop payment if not using it.

Hi @Terri164   You contracted to pay for a service, why would Sky care if you used it or not. If Sky stopped your service, that would be another matter.
