What will happen now is a credit will appear on your account for the amount you have overpaid and this will be used to pay your next bill so on that bill no money will be taken from your account. If you want the overpayment returned you will need to contact Sky, the repayment will take 3-5 business days.

If you have a direct debit setup you don't need to be making manual payments as it won't stop it from being collected.
You'll need to call Sky if you've overpaid, nothing will happen on the back of a forum post.
