Waiting 2 months for switch over from virgin to sky

Still being charged from virgin because sky still haven't giving them my switch over date and cancel my switch over

Sky can only change your broadband as with the TV it is up to you to give Virgin the required notice to cancel.

Are you moving to Sky Broadband or have you cancelled it as it isn't clear from what you have said what is happening.

Hi, thanks for reaching out, I switched to sky broadband from virgin 2 months ago, contacted virgin and they are saying sky havent sent over the dates and cancel my switch over yet...... still waiting on skys response but don't seem to be getting anywhere yet......

Sorry........ also....... I cancelled my contract with virgin 2 months ago but they are still taking payments saying they are waiting for sky for switch over dates

If you want continuity of service then this is correct.  Most people using the One Touch Switch don't want to be left without Internet access...

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers

If Virgin are still taking payments and you are up and running with Sky for both broadband and TV then I suggest you now cancel via Virgin yourself.

Hi @Mrwhite   Is any infrastucture work required? That is, Sky are waiting for Openreach.

That doesn't sound correct, because as a customer you should be allowed to terminate a broadband service regardless of whether you are switching to another supplier or not

I understand that fully, but getting no answers from both party's involved.

its very frustrating as I'm sure you understand, just blaming each other!

i guess ill have to wait to the morning again now..... 

I am currently away on holiday and have better things to do if honest

Update....... sky have now contacted myself and asked for proof of payments being made to Virgin........ all sent and now waiting on reply
