Virgin Media Broadband with Sky Glass ? I can't get Sky Broadband in the new property.. Advice Pleas

New Apartment Bloc , Virgin Media only.

I'd like to stay with Sky but they use different connections on their Broadband.

Thinking Sky Glass, but Sky they can't supply Broadband at this property ?

Will Virgin Broadband be able to be used for Sky Glass ?

Hi @Bernard+Ireland

I have Virgin m350 (as it's the only full fibre option available where I live) and it works great with my glass and pucks

you can use glass or stream with any internet connection provided it's stable and roughly more than 30mbs. The faster the better ......

Moving House with No Sky Q or Sky Broadband

I've SKY Q box, I'm moving.

Sky can't provide Broadband at the new address ? So they say.

It's wired for Virgin Media only, although there's a Sky Communial Dish supplying the main bloc of the Apartments.

No Dishes are allowed.

I'd like to stay with Sky and get Glass , but it's not looking possible...Or

Three Broadband has a good offer @ 20 euro for 12 months and confirmed the service available.

Thought's on this please

@Bernard+Ireland Sky Q will work with a communal dish as long as it's compatible with Sky Q, the broadband provider isn't an issue as any can be used.

You'll need to check with the management company or landlord regarding the communal dish.

The alternative is Sky stream, you would only need Sky Glass if you're looking for a new TV with Sky built in.

If you don't need a new TV then Stream would be your option if Sky Q can't be installed.

@Bernard+Ireland  You've created another thread in the accessibility board (which is the wrong place for it as it's not an accessibility service related issue/query) asking the same question, you've received replies to your posts.

Please don't create duplicate threads as it just duplicate replies and causes confusion, all your questions could be asked in the one thread.

All your posts made today have been merged to this one thread.
