Unauthorised payment

Why have you taken a payment for Sky Steam when I cancelled it 2 months ago?

@Willowdusk you can't speak to customer services on a public forum. This is a community of other Sky customers.

When you cancelled you have to give 31 days notice and the billing works a month in advance.

Dis you get a confirmation email for your cancellation and what day did you cancel? It's likely that the paying additional 2 months is correct based on when your billing date is and the date you cancelled.

if you login to your MySky account and check out the future bills you should see you are no longer charged for sky stream and will likely see the credit appear in next months bill for the amount you have overpaid.

Once the over payment appears as credit in your account it's possible to then be refunded (this usually takes 4-6 weeks from the day your services stop not the cancellation date).

Re: Unauthorised payment

If I could actually speak to a person I wouldn't have had to post here.  My initial payment was refunded as I cancelled straight away so they shouldn't have taken this payment but thank you for replying.

Did you receive an email confirming the cancellation? If not then it would suggest your services haven't actually be cancelled at all.

You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.

If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number. If you are in the ROI on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.

Apparently phone lines are busy at the moment so you may be on hold for quite a while.
