Unapproved Sky Sports added to my account and struggling to get it cancelled

Booked a home move with Sky. Engineer completed the work but added Sky Sports without my approval as the account holder. Saw it in my bill last week and have been trying to get it cancelled without any luck. Spoke to an agent who told me I would need to serve 31 days notice. Kinda absurd as I, the account holder, never agreed to have this activated in the forst place. How do I get this removed?!?

Unfortunately you do need to give 31 days notice. That's a bit naughty of the engineer if you didn't agree to it. 

You may be able to remove it via this link which includes a message option (usually available between 9am & 7.30pm) or by calling using the number that should appear.

You might want to put in a complaint about this:

https://www.sky.com/help/complaints


This gives Sky 6 weeks to resolve this issue and if they do not you can ask for a deadlock letter to take it further.

I read quite a few post were a engineer has add somthing to customer pachage either a supposably in  free deal for a couple of months which usually doesn't happen or in your case just adding it.I wounder what incentive these engineers get from Sky  for doing it?
