Hi there, I have recently signed up to Sky Broadband but have my email linked to my partners old sky account, It now says on my Sky Account (when logging in with my email) that I have an issue and need to unlink my old account, Every time I try to do so however, I says "Whoops" and spits out an error.
Can I get some assistance please.

Keep an eye out for an invite or blue chat bubble.
When the blue bubble does appear you have 48 hours to respond or it will be automatically closed.
Be reassured the email & message is from Sky and your details are safe and secure.
If you are using Safari please make sure that Hide IP Address is not checked in order to see the blue bubble. If you are having trouble finding this to check the settings, use another browser such as Firefox, Chrome etc.
I would also recommend that if not already on, that you turn email/private message notifications on to avoid missing any alerts

Find out moreTo get you some help with this I have escalated your posts to the Sky Messaging team who should be in touch with you regarding this via a blue/red chat bubble which will appear at the bottom of this page. It can take up to a few hours to be contacted via this.
This link explains how this works so you will need to respond to the chat bubble at the bottom of the page when it appears:
https://community.sky.com/t5/Did-you-know/Escalating-a-post-to-a-Sky-expert/ba-p/3711147
When the chat bubble does appear you will need to respond to it as soon as you can.
This isn't a live chat so replies are not instant.

Posted by a Sky employeeGood morning. I will send invites to chat now however I must advise that if an ID is still linked to an old account and needs unlinking then we cannot do this through messaging.
An ID can only be unlinked by the primary ID on the account removing it on sky.com, or calling in to speak with the Sky ID team to have it done by them.

@Michkah You can call on 150 from a Sky Talk Line or Sky Mobile.
If you haven't got a current Sky Mobile or Sky Talk this link should help:
https://www.sky.com/help/home Scroll down and click on ‘Need more help’ and it provides a 0333 number. If you are in the ROI on the same link change the flag in the very bottom corner to the ROI flag to obtain an 0818 number.
If the initial automated phone system tried to send you back to the forum, either just stay quiet on the phone or if its asks something along the lines of "has the link ive sent you helped?" just say "no" and it will be queue your call up to be answered by an advisor.
