Unable to sign up for VIP Rewards

When I try to sign up for VIP rewards, I get the following message: 

 

We're really sorry, but you can't join SKY VIP right now.

it could be because:

Your new to sky and your service aren't set up yet.

SKY VIP is'nt avalble with your package

Your a NOW TV customer.  it only works on SKY customers

Your're in your 31 day cancellation period

Your services are suspended due to a billing issue

 You work for sky

 

As far as I am aware none of the above are true.

When you returned did you setup a new Sky ID as you one you had 4 years ago will have been closed. Then use this to login to the app with.

 

If you want to use the same email address then you need to first remove it from the old account first so log into the old account here:


https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details


Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID:


https://www.sky.com/help/diagnostics/sky-id/sky-id

How long have you been a customer of Sky and have you left in the past for 18 months or more then returned ?

Hi, I have been a Sky customer for just over 3 months now. I was previously a Sky customer, but left about 4 years ago.
