I have called on numerous occasions to cancel a package I never signed up for. I am owed £76 pounds & I get offered £24.50.
absolutely diabolical. Will be cancelling all my subscriptions tomorrow morning first thing. Tried to cancel online & says I must call to do so. Joke!

Almost certainly you signed up for a continuing subscription with the first 3 months free. That's what Sky offer. That means you would have had to give 31 days notice to cancel after the second month to avoid paying after month 3.
If you have previously called to give notice to cancel and been charged beyond the 31 days notice period, ask Sky to listen to the call recording in which you cancelled.

I did ask them to cancel it. There are multiple recorded conversations, yet still I'm being billed!
I have now escalated this to the ombudsman. A company like the calibre of Sky should not be offering its long standing customers this kind of service

I doubt you will get anywhere with this, unless you have gone through Sky's official complaint process and given them 8 weeks to resolve the dispute. Even then if it remains unresolved after 8 weeks, you would then need to get a deadline letter from them before you can then take it further.
