Two payments taken for broadband

Good afternoon 

iv made a manual payment for my broadband and didn't realise they had already taken a payment via DD .... however my bill is now due and they requesting further payment ?! The extra payment is not showing as credit so not sure where it's gone ! Also the Wi-Fi has been awful since getting connected last mth ! Thanks in advance

Were you new to Sky last month? If so, the first two bills are two weeks apart. Is the payment now due for your second bill?

Hiya I was new to sky broadband on the 10th of January ?! I'm so confused as the payments were taken on the 24th and 25th

What date did you make the manual payment on, was it the 24th and Sky took it on the 25th ?

Yes I made the manual payment the day after they took payment .... but it's not showing in my account!

What does next months bill show, do you see a credit on this ?

 

If not as you made the payment on a Saturday it might take a few days to catch up.

I don't understand why they can't just take the double payment I made as this mths payment ?!

Billing doesn't work like that.

 

Give it a few days then hopefully the payment you made on Saturday will appear as a credit.

Without seeing your bills and account details it's very difficult to work out what has happened here. I think you may have to call to get to the bottom of it or if you wish we can ask Sky's messaging team to try to explain via a private online chat?
