Two month wait for set up in new house. Can I get a refund

I moved house in 9 December 2923 and my install was cancelled on 27 December after the appointment was due to have taken place. They've now rebooked it for Feb 7th. I don't wish to pay for a service I don't have. I have no internet/wi fi. We need internet here for school and work. How do I get this sorted out? I'm really unhappy as it's costing me a lot extra on my phone bill to get data.

Once it's working you can ask Sky for a credit if the autocompensation doesn't apply.  (See https://www.sky.com/help/articles/auto-compensation)

It's presumably OpenReach's first available date.  You can keep calling to see if they have a cancellation etc.

@Gridlock

Any credit Sky apply will not be based on anyone not being able to work as Sky Broadband being discussed on the forum is a domestic service.
