I spoke to someone in sky and explained my situation,
Paid over £130 this month, then was going to pay the remaining £20.
The site was down, or could bot acces billing information or information restricted whatever it said,
Now my services have been restricted and £10 popped on the bill,
How is it ok to charge more, when people are clearly already struggling, 🤷♂️🤦♂️

Because you didn't pay on time?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreI would presume the £10 is a late payment charge which is applied if a bill isn't paid on time. I would pay the remaining £20 when it is working for you then if you services are not suspended call Sky to see if they will apply a credit to your account to cover this charge.

Yes was still trying to, only failed because of their systems i guess,
And i had spoken to someone at sky previously and explained my situation, was told all would be ok, and there wouldn't be any charges applied

It is a late payment,
But i spoke to someone at sky about it, and when i did try to pay (would of been on time) the site wasnt working for me,

Find out moreAlthough unfortunate the automatic billing system would not be aware (and cs agents can't override it) that you were having issues with the site being down and would automatically assume you have failed to pay the full amount on time therefore applying restrictions and late payment fees
