I am returning to sky Q after a couple of years and the engineer is due to visit to install on 20th March. My old sky ID just shows that I left and i therefore set up a new sky id with a different email address. I have tried to link my NEW sky id to my account using post code and bank details as suggested so that I can use the sky go app but keep getting the message 'We have been unable to identify this account with the details provided'. Really want to use sky go so any help would be great!

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out moreAs you left Sky and then returned after being away for a year then your account will have been closed as you have discovered so you will need to set up a new Sky ID to use.
If you want to use the same email address then you need to first remove it from the old account first so log into the old account here:
https://www.sky.com/myaccount/my-details
Then delete the email address by providing another one and logout of this account, this will then free it up to use when setting up your new Sky ID:

Thanks @caesarome - that's useful for changing the sky I'd but I still cannot link the account to use the sky go app until I get the q box installed
