Trying to create a new account but get to payment screen & technical error message appears

I am trying to switch from BT to Sky on a Sky glass, tv and broadband contract. All is well until i click 'place order' right at the end and I get a message to say there is a technical error at their end. I am doing it via the website to get the rather attractive cashback offer so phoning them will deny me this. I have tried four times now and on different devices and each times its exactly the same

The chances are that the technical error will not go away so calling will be the only way to get the order placed,

 

Enen placing this order you are not signed into another Sky account like one you have created or perhaps an old one.
