Trouble signing up to sky after ex wife cancelled contract

My soon to be ex-wife has cancelled the sky at the house as it was in her name alone. I would like to re-sign up in my own name for at least the broadband part but however I try the system keeps saying we still have an account and to use her details. I dont know how to get round that. Any ideas?

If the cancellation is still in progress you will probably need to call in.

I have been trying to find a number that I can call that doesnt require an account number to get through to a real person

How long ago did she cancel coukd it still be within the 31 day notice period (for TV)? I doubt you'll be able to speak to Sky as you're not the account holder.

services have all been terminated now. broadband was the last one yesterday. so nothing is live anymore

When phoning try to pick a different option from the phone menu if you can.
