Thinking of Cancelling tv

my contract expires on 17ty October and you want to increase my payments by some £45 per mont which is unacceptable to me so unless the price can be considerably reduced I intend to cancel my sky TV after being with you for over 26 years

This is a customer led discussion forum where Sky customers are here to try to help other customers. You aren’t speaking to Sky Customer Services here.

Your discounts are ending, not your contract. Contact Sky to try to negotiate a new discount.

@john.raggett

You are talking to other customers only on here as this is where we help each other.

Your contract doesn't actually expire next month but the minimum term does so that discount you had is ending hence the increase. Whatever you do going forward you will need to speak to Skybto either see if they will offer you a new discount if you will agree to a new 24 month contract or by giving the required notice to leave.

If you've been a customer for 26 years you must know how the minimum term / 'in contract' terms work?

Call Sky like you must have done many times before to agree new discounts?

I am just another Sky customer and my views are my own even if you don't like the answers
