Technical difficulties when trying to buy sky broadband

Hey

Lots of posts about this here but no real answers, anyone know what i can do to get around the 'Sorry, were having technical difficulties' message when im trying to buy  a tv + broadband deal

I did ring them up but the same deal that was 40£ a month online was something like £60 over the phone?

I have a phone with sky but have never had any tv or broadband

Cheers

Same for me too. Amazing to think we are getting this when trying to buy a product. Doesnt fill me with confidence should there be issues further on down the line.

Re: Technical difficulties when trying to buy sky broadband

Its possible that this may be browser related. Im using the latest version of Firefox which does seem overly fussy from a security point of view. Ive also tried Private session in Firefox without success. Using Chrome however gets well past the point of failure described above. Ive got to the point where you can choose a delivery slot so assuming this will be ok.

This is interesting. Lets not forgets SKYs past.

Did you really get your order Queeg?

SKY are advertising a product you won't get, Im trying to go through uswitch. Its a quid cheaper and you get a voucher.

I've tried 2 devices, 3 browsers on each device and incog mode. I have exhausted all my current emails and so kept created more. 18 attempts.

I have never owned a SKY product in the past.

Newest FF
Newest Chrome
Newest Opera

The only solution is to call and pay more? that is false advertising. That is illegal. I would be very surprised if there are terms stating these offers end at 4pm on a Friday, or even 6.30pm as it is now...

Misleading pricing

Why do so many people over such a long period struggle to complete deals offered on the website?

Its not an email or browser issue, I;ve touched on this here:

https://helpforum.sky.com/t5/Account-Billing/Technical-difficulties-when-trying-to-buy-sky-broadband...

There are forum posts from 2020 on this matter, they are all very similar.

SKY  are at it again...

@skyareuseless1  I did get my order via Chrome. Apologies I should have said this.
