Refund back to bank account

I've today received an email from Sky advised that I have a credit balance which they'd like to refund to me. The phone number provided is an automated service, telling me that they can raise a cheque and post it to the address listed on my account. The reason I have a credit balance is that I've moved house so will not receive a cheque posted to my old address. There doesn't seem to be any way of setting a forwarding address, Sky's automated assistant can't help, and I cannot find any phone numbers to actually speak to anyone. Can anyone please assist?

Re: Refund back to bank account

Sadly not. I paid by direct debit which has since been cancelled. The credit looks like it's been there since January but this is the first I've heard of it.

@Jojo98x

It is an email from Sky because presumably you have left Sky and had forgotten that there was an outstanding credit that was owed to you. If you want to check then see if you can login to your account here to see if the credit is present:

Sky are currently writing to customers with an outstanding balance so it may be genuine. You can check by looking at your online Sky account.

You will have been sent that email @Scimitarse5a because presumably you have left Sky and there is still a credit on it that needs refunding, so as there is no payment method set up then you will need to call the number on the email.
