My SKY signature package is due to expire in October 2024.
I contacted SKY via text message to discuss cancelling Q and Signature.
I am told to ignore the fact the app tells me my current deal is due to Expire and I am in contract until 2025 and they are unable to cancel the contract.
I asked them to investigate further to be told they won't.
I have sent an email to the exec team. But appears the outsourced call centre has new ways to prevent one from cancelling Q and Signature. Unless I want to take Stream. Which I don't.
Perhaps it goes against the contracted figures. Who knows.

Do you have Sky Movies and Sky Sports on your package as well ?

Hello. I don't. I've made no changes since I renewed last year. Which was an 18 month contract. Which expires in October.

The app directs my enquiry to Facebook messenger or text.
I would have thought it would be the same replies regardless.
Unfortunately from experience. I don't find the call centre of much help. Which is why I contacted them via text.
I shall ride it out until the complaints team come back to me.

The offshore team replied to my email. Informed me I was in contract.
I followed the WhatsApp route and got in touch with some one in the UK. She couldn't understand where the phantom contract came from and she put through the 31 days cancellation for me.
Finally SKY free! Sad times though when the offshore call centre are making contract end dates up though to suit themselves.
