Strange. Offer of £38 but in basket shows as £55 per month.

I went to upgrade my account and it offered me Fibre 100 complete with all calls for £38.

BUT my basket in top right of screen shows talk anytime as £17 extra. And the total is £55

So can anyone please explain what it says £38 in total but it is in fact £55?

The only thing I can think of is if you were to take up this offer your first bill after it goes live might cover a period longer than the usual 4 weeks as this depends on the activation date for the new product and when you are billed so it might be showing that were you to sign up today that next availble bill is going to be £55 due to this.

Many thanks but if I look in the basket it shows £38 for broadband and £17 for talk anytime. Two separate items.

So it seems that the word total in the offer doesn't mean total or something wrong with the system??

Just phoned and they can't do the deal of £38 in total. Wanted me to take photo of the screen and send it to them, which I did, but they couldn't do it.

Oh well...
