Still paying monthly bill whilst awaiting sky q upgrade

So my sky + faulted and not covered. Upgrading to sky q for free and on same contract, have been given 22nd march for install so without sky for over a month. Surely I wouldn't have to pay this month's bill when have to wait that long???? Any advice please thanks.

As you are still a paying customer you will continue to get access as normal via Sky Go.

Don't feel tempted to withhold payment - that will only cause issues.

 

As you note Sky+ is not longer supported by Sky and a loss of service wouldn't normally be covered.  Usually, if you have Q and cannot receive programmes then you can request a credit for the period where you couldn't access.

 

You'll have to ask Sky to see if they'll apply a goodwill credit.

 

Alternatively, source a Sky+ box cheaply or use Sky Go.  (I believe this may be available prior to install but again you may need to ask Sky)
