Sky wont cancel my dead uncles £60 a month subscription and been charging him
I am disgusted with sky, My Aunt has been going through a lot as my uncle has passed away and today I have seen that they have been paying 60£ for sky which my Aunt had no idea as she is fairly old and my uncle would deal with the bills.
Today I looked into my uncles account and was shocked to first see he has been with sky for 8 whole years probably been overcharged all this time! its there choice of course but its easy to see there business model is build for older people who do not really know how to navigate around the internet.
First going to the site they hide all the cancel options in drop down menus which even I had trouble to navigate and I am in web development and even then i was stuck so watched a tutorial on youtube to cancel his subscription which lead be to speak with the live chat where i was put on to someone called GURURAJ. I told him the situation and he was absolutely useless telling me I need to get the password from my dead uncle if i was to help him, I told him over and over my situation about how my uncle is now dead so any information is not possible to get he then gave me numbers to call saying if that would do. (this went on for some time and he didnt seem to care at all). when he said this I said its not okay which he then messaged saying he can pass me onto someone who can sort the matter which confused the hell out of me as we was chatting for way over 45 minutes to get to this point!!!
I was trying to ensure my aunty it will all be okay when suddenly Gururaj just sent me a message saying "the office is now shut try again tomorrow" without dealing with my claim or giving me any information on what i should do next when the website clearly says it ends at 19.30pm when they cut me off around 18.37pm .8 years sky you been ripping them off and now my uncle is dead you still want to delay the cancelation so you can squeeze out another 60£. I will never recommended or go to sky in my life, disgusting company with disgusting morals.

The agent would be very limited in what he could do as you didn't know the relevant password. This is to protect the account holder otherwise anyone could call and change their account.
Use the link supplied by @caesarome and that team should be able to move the account into your Aunts name and set up a telephone password so she can speak with Sky in the future. If you then know that password you'd be able to speak to Sky as well on her behalf but she, as the account holder, would be the only person able to cancel any aspect of the subscription.
