Sky q linked to deleted account

Firstly, for anyone like me who isn't great with tech stuff, before you do a post make sure you have an account and are logged in, otherwise, as I just found out, you need to be, and all my 10 minutes typing was lost. Here goes, again. I have been with sky for almost 20 years. I had sky HD, and was offered sky q for 30 euros, great. When I checked my bank, I discovered they had linked the new sky q to an old account, supposedly deleted, sky confirmed 2 years ago, but they kept the HD running on the other, current, account, so, taking 2 payments. They keep telling me that I have 2 accounts, so I must have 2 houses, which I don't. Furthermore, if I was to talk to them about the supposedly deleted account, to access it I would need to confirm the address, which apparently is different to our home address, and I can't do that, in which case, there is no way I could have agreed to put the sky q on the old account as I couldn't get through the security questions. Ludicrous. Any help appreciated. I spent 95 minutes on the phone. They're driving me mental. Thanks.
