Hi. I have a standard basic package at £26 per month. It has just gone up to £36.65. Thats over a 70% increase. That can't be right.

A discounted deal could have ended in addition to the annual price increase. You would have been told the date the discounted deal was ending when you originally took it out. If you haven’t already you should compare a previous bill to your latest bill and see where the amounts differ.
If your discount has ended you will need to contact Sky to try to negotiate a new deal which will require another minimum term contract. Sky are not obliged to offer you another discount but if you’re offered something acceptable you need to agree there and then because if you decide to think about it the offer may no longer be available.
You can either call Sky or use the following link https://www.sky.com/help/articles/cancel-sky-tv#contact-leave
This link https://www.sky.com/help/articles/been-overcharged may also help.

Very difficult to find out how much a basic pacage is on sky.
They only show the extras. Is there not a proper web page that shows everything?

There's also 'Essentials' which has only the free-to-air channels.

As noted in that other thread, a £10.65 increase on £26 is more like 40%
The annual price rise this year is in line with CPI at about 10% which suggests you have something else going on: typically that's the end of a discounted initial minimum contact period.
