Sky cheque banked but not paid
Hi there, after my Dad passed away in march Sky sent the remainder of what he was owed on his account. I took the cheque to the bank it was accepted but now weeks later it has been returned to me, with the bank saying it was not paid by Sky and they need to reissue another one.
Where do I return the cheque to or request re-issue.
Also would be good to know why it wasnt paid so that I can avoid this next time it is issued.

All you can is to phone them about thi:
150 is the free number to use from a phone that has a Sky mobile sim in it or Sky Talk phone otherwise under "Need more help ?" link at the bottom of the page on this link is the number to call Sky on:
Try saying nothing when spoken to by the bot.

Your bank will know the reason why it wasn't paid.

Sadly they don't they said it is the cheque issuer who pays it so only they can say why is. It honoured this time.
can anyone else help please as the bank processes the cheque but SKY have not paid it.

Absolute nonsense. If you paid the bank cheque into your bank, the paying bank (Sky's bank) will advise the collecting bank (your bank) why it hasn't been paid. In turn, they should tell you.

Hi @Elaine323 I'm afraid that only Sky (or your bank) can help you. There is nothing the community can do.
