I been with Sky broadband using the old copper internet for 10 years, my contract was ending on May 26 and was paying £29.25 I rang Sky on April 29 about changing my broadband to Superfast fibre, they offer me a deal for £27 a month & said it would start on May 29
They sent me a text on 9 May saying the start date will now be 1 July no reason was given for this delay, as I am now out of my contract my bill for May 26 was £41.41 & the one for June will be £42.25
I think this is unfair as Sky changed the day not me.
have this happened to anyone else?

Posted by a Superuser, not a Sky employee. Find out more@David3567 The change of date will be down to Openreach and not Sky, if Openreach have identified issues with moving you to a new service then they need time to sort that so they can get your new service up and running.
