Sky broadband cancellation refund credit

Hey, I cancelled my broadband package last month (July) and was charged for the next month, but then refunded  in form of credit. It says this credit goes towards paying your next bill, despite my package being closed already and no future bills ahead. I'd like for this to go into my bank account instead - please help getting this sorted.

@Sule_1336 you could either wait for it to be refunded automatically,  providing your direct debit is still in place. That usually takes around 6 weeks. Or you could contact Sky and ask for a manual repayment within 5 days.

@Sule_1336

Refunds are apparently taking longer than the usual 6 weeks from your last day of connection (so not due yet).

We could normally escalate this to Sky on here via their Messaging Team but unfortunately the process is currently switched off and will be until sometime next week.

As stated by @Mark39 you will need to contact Sky and speak to an agent by other means; through social media, Sky Assistant or by calling in perhaps. Saying nothing when asked the reason for your call usually helps in getting put in the queue.

Alternatively post back in this thread next week to see if we can help further.
